My doula services are covered by some insurances
As an added benefit to my clients, I offer the service of preparing a packet for you to submit to your insurance company. I am a Bozeman doula that is/has been covered by insurance. Depending on the insurance, coverage varies.. I find that clients get better refunds if they submit the paperwork themselves. If you have insurance, I always suggest that you add on this service to your regular doula services. Many clients have been pleasantly surprised by the response of their insurance companies and how much of their doula services the insurance companies actually cover.
There is a small added fee for this services since I provide you all of the documentation, with the correct coding, for you to submit. This paperwork has been submitted in the past and has worked beautifully. Each client has different codes required for the insurance companies to cooperate. There is never a guarantee of any return from your insurance company, and the fee for preparing the paperwork is non-refundable (it is just a service not a guarantee). If you choose to submit to your insurance company, then you would pay me in full by 36 weeks and then you will submit all of the insurance paperwork after baby has arrived. You will then be responsible for contacting your insurance company and staying on the updates and any work that needs to be handled regarding your claim. I provide you with the tools and the correct coding to submit a powerful claim to your insurance company, and nothing beyond that.
