Our Bozeman and Livingston doula and home birth service offers placenta encapsulation, birth doula services, midwifery services, meal preparation services, postpartum support services and birth photography. We are also offering postpartum education classes and prenatal education classes.
Our doula services are covered by Healthshare Companies...
I find that clients get better refunds if they submit the paperwork themselves. We can provide a receipt of payment my NPI number, doula certification number, my signature, and my address. Usually this is all the information they need on the payment receipt. There is never a guarantee of any return from your insurance company or healthshare company. If you choose to submit to your insurance company, you still need to pay in full by 36 weeks and then you will submit your receipt and all of the insurance paperwork after baby has arrived. You will then be responsible for contacting your insurance company or healthshare company and staying on the updates and any work that needs to be handled regarding your claim. Insurance companies are denying doula services more and more for coverage these days. However, it is worth a try and you may be pleasantly surprised.
Typically the most successful coverage plans are Christian Healthcare Ministries (CHP) and Samaritan Ministries Insurances. We have seen a good return rate with these clients. These companies are typically easy to work with very helpful in the reimbursement process.
