This amazing cord burning kit is a way to have a ceremony during the later part of your amazing home birth or birth center birth. This allows the cord to be burned instead of cut and banded. Burning the cord cauterizes the cord and thus does not require a tie. The cord will be longer after burning and should be tied in a knot to dry. Also this beautiful ceremony should take about 15 minutes if the cord was allowed to fully drain.
